We are happy to announce that effective May 1st, 2017 Investaflex Financial Group has joined ZLC Financial. Investaflex is a firm built on values akin to ours, and for the past year and a half has continued the legacy of their founder Malcolm Ross (a true visionary). We are honoured to have them join our team. Vilayphone (Violet) Smith will be joining us as an Associate along with Chantel Gibbs, Senior Planner. Violet and Chantel bring with them experience and expertise in financial planning, further strengthening ZLC’s service offerings.
Violet brings 20+ years of experience in the financial services industry. Her recent role is President of Investaflex which she assumed back in Sept 2015 when the founder became terminally ill. During her 20 years with Investaflex she has acquired a CPA, CGA, CFP, CLU and CHS designation. She joined Investaflex right after graduating from Simon Fraser University with a bachelors of arts degree with a major in economics. She is excited to share with each Associate the planning process delivered at Investaflex that has been well recognized by clients, accountants, lawyers and financial advisors.
Chantel is a CPA, CGA. She specializes in tax research and creating financial plan projections and tax estimations for clients. She is a whiz with numbers and enjoys working through different tax scenarios. Chantel holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Trinity Western University. Before joining Investaflex, Chantel articled with two accounting firms and worked for a year as an administrator in the investment industry.
