On June 14th, Employee Benefits Advisor Dan Eisner (CPA, CA) will be leading a half day CPABC Professional Development seminar on Understanding the Financial Risks of Employee Benefits. A “financial storm” is coming related to employee benefits, this seminar will help participants understand the current reality and develop strategies that are best suited to their own unique needs.
OVERVIEW
Costs related to employee benefits programs are a significant and growing cost for businesses. CFOs are increasingly recognizing the financial risks related to employee benefits but they also recognize that the area is not well understood nor is it strategically managed. While annual inflation rates for employee benefits have been somewhat muted over the last couple of years, that is all about to change with double-digit inflation a strong likelihood in the near future. This seminar will help participants better understand the current reality related to employee benefits, recognize that a “financial storm” is coming around their costs and risks, and develop strategies that are best suited to their own unique needs. Through a combination of lecture and interactive discussions, this seminar will help participants better understand the area of employee benefits, the key cost drivers and future trends impacting benefits, and strategies to better manage them.
