Story
Providing independent advice since 1946
ZLC Financial traces its origins back to 1945, when Harold Zlotnik entered the life insurance business. Well into his career Hal soon recognized that his clients would be better served with independent advice to ensure his clients’ needs were always at the forefront of his business. This innovative thinking led to the start of a pioneering firm focused on providing life insurance and other financial brokerage services. In 1981, Hal partnered with son Garry, and Peter Lamb to establish Zlotnik, Lamb & Company. Through their work, and the firm’s team of expert advisors, the brokerage has grown into one of the largest independent financial advisory firms in Vancouver, now known as ZLC Financial. The company continues to preserve Harold’s legacy as a business based on the belief that advice is only as good as the person you ask.
