Disruptors Series Part VI: The Issue of Experience This is the sixth installment of our Disruptors Series where we provide additional information on each of the issues that we believe “Disruptors” are missing for employee benefits in the long term….
"Advice is only as good
as the person you ask."
A Proud History
ZLC Financial traces its origins back to 1946, when co-founder Harold Zlotnik first entered the life insurance business.
In 1979, after 33 years in the industry and many achievements and accomplishments earned along the way, Harold had the vision to recognize that his clients would be better served if he became an independent agent. It was this innovative thinking that led to the creation of one of Vancouver’s most respected firms, ZLC Financial. After his first year as an independent agent, he was recognized as one of the top four producers in Canada.
Today, the company preserves Harold’s legacy as a business founded on the assumption that advice is only as good as the person you ask.

Estate & Living Benefits
Estate planning can give you the peace of mind knowing that your family and loved ones will be taken care if something were to happen to you. The thought of creating an Estate plan may feel overwhelming, but it doesn't need to be. Your decisions can be changed at any time, and it is always better to have something in place then leave decisions to others after you are gone or are no longer able.
Business Family Succession
When the time comes for retirement of the owners of a small business, the type of financial planning needed to affect that outcome changes. It is this very planning – that of securing the transition of a corporate entity from one focused solely on its growth and development to one whose growth and development must also fund the needed retirement income and change of ownership to the next generation that is the concern of the Business Family Succession Planning Division at ZLC.
Managing and investing a large sum of money can sometimes lead to unsound purchasing decisions, and outliving the money that was supposed to last you a lifetime. At ZLC their Structured Settlement experts can provide you with tax-free income to take care of you and your family for a lifetime.
