After having graduated from Business Administration in 1969, Howie Young entered the employee benefit plan business in 1972 with a major Canadian life insurance company. From 1975 to the present, Howie has been involved in succession and estate planning.

He believes that careful planning and working as a team with both the accounting and legal profession gives the client the most effective solution to the issue of Family Succession. Howie also provides practical advice on funding capital gains tax, shareholder and partnership agreements, and executive compensation plans.

Howie is a current or past member of the following associations:

• President and Director, 1994 Grey Cup Festival
• Member, B.C. Lions President's Advisory Board
• Director, YMCA of Greater Vancouver

Howie spends his time away from the office with his wife and three children.
